Tuc Belin history
The TUC brand was launched by a Belgian family cookie factory, Parein, in 1958. The company wanted to launch the American "cracker" in Europe, and the name was chosen as an acronym for "Trade Union Corporation", a term that appeared in a newspaper article read by Louis Parein on his return flight from a business trip to the United States. The cookie factory was bought by the Lu-Brun group in 19771.
