Louis Parès  built the factory (which was one of the first Chocolate factories in France) in Arles-sur-Tech, in the Pyrénées Orientales in 1814.
It was a family owned business until the 1960s and was later bought by Georges Poirrier who took the company from the rank of well-known family business to leading French manufacturer of chocolate bars and will later become the Cémoi group around the 1980’s.

The first Petit Ourson Guimauve was invented by M.Catherine in the 60s and, at first, the idea left the sales representatives of the company pretty skeptical.
M. Catherine still decided to secretly produce a few pieces of the chocolate bears and presented them to the company during an important meeting. The result ? Everybody was impressed with the candy, devoured the few that were available during the meeting and immediately asked for more.
That's how the Le Petit Ourson Guimauve started getting produced in the factory of Villeneuve d'Ascq, close to Lille in France, in 1962.
From the very beginning, kids and adults have been in love with the taste of these cute little chocolate bears and the candy will soon celebrate its 60th birthday!

Ingredients:

• glucose-fructose syrup

• sugar

• water

• cocoa butter

• whole milk powder 4.2%

• cocoa mass

• gelatin

• stabilizer: sorbitol syrup

• whey powder

• pectin

• emulsifier: sunflower lecithin

• flavorings.

May contain traces of gluten and nuts.
