DIY KNITTING KIT - Infinity scarf - Mariniere

This infinity scarf will warm up your neck and your heart! It is a lightweight, easy to wear, warming without being too chunky scarf.  
Now, you can knit it yourself - in the special "Mariniere" version (iconic navy-white stripes) derived from the easy infinity scarf by Brooknit Bonneterie. 

What is an infinity scarf? 
It's a scarf made as a loop, no beginning, no end. 
It is long enough to wrap it twice around your neck. It is warm without being very voluminous. 
It will stay in place, no scarf pan falling and caught inadvertently. 

Where does it come from? 
The mariniere infinity scarf is derived from the standard, single-color "easy infinity" designed by Julie, French New Yorker, knitter, and founder of Brooknit Bonneterie. 

What's in the kit? 
The kits are prepared by Julie, founder of Brooknit Bonneterie.
They contain all you need to be able to knit it, even for beginners! 
- The yarn! You need 100% Merino wool in the right amount for the 2 colors of the yarn (2 cakes of about 2oz in each color Slate and Meringue).  
- Explanations and pattern documents: all the instructions to follow step by step. It includes QR codes with access to step-by-step video series, to show you the moves, and the tips! 

- 1 tapestry needle. The small essential to close at the top and weaving the ends. 

- 3 stitch markers. Never too many of those! 

- 1 marker row counter. So helpful to track your progress. 

- 1 cloth label to be sewn.

- 1 no-iron fabric labels to add the name (ideal to put on the back of the cloth label)

All items are stored in cotton drawstring bags. The larger one, containing the yarn, can also be used as a wash bag to protect the item in the washing machine.

MERINO WOOL:
The natural properties of our 100% Super Wash Merino wool are no short of magic! Merino wool fiber naturally provides natural thermoregulation, anti-microbial, hypoallergenic texture on the most sensitive skin.
It is soft, anti-plush, anti-itch, anti-odor, sustainable and resistant. 

CARE: 
Machine-wash at low temperature. Wool / delicate cycles. Lay flat to dry. 
Small stains: gently remove with water and mild soap. 
Odors: fly way when the garment is aired-out for a couple of hours. 

DESIGN:
The Inifinity scarf "Mariniere" is a special French styling of stripes. 
It exists in a unique version starting with one color, ending with the other, using the exact same amount of yarn in the two colors. 


It is a perfect add-on to the MARINIERE beanie, and to the MARINIERE cocoon, for the baby, for the proud older sibling, Mummy, Daddy, or anyone in team Baby!
