About whole wheat
Whole wheat flour is so named because it preserves the 3 elements of the wheat grain: the almond, the germe and the son, whereas refined flour contains only the almond. The preservation of the envelope allows to keep all the precious benefits of the cereal and notably the fibers! See Infograph in images.
