Description

With 15 million units sold yearly in the U.S., pacifiers (and how to stop using them) are a popular parenting subject.
Since 75% of American kids use a pacifier at some point in their life, it is an evergreen topic and a great inspiration for children's books.
Pacita the Pacifier Fairy, a poetic fairytale created out of the personal experience of its authors Charlotte Attry & Jeremie Febvre, accompanies children and parents along this crucial step in a child’s development.

The story of Pacita offers a helping hand to parents, written in catchy rhyming verse and mixing just the right touch of imagination, magical illustrations, and practical advice.

Super helpful and cute book

Loved this book so much! My 3-year-old son was still obsessed with his pacifiers, and I thought it was going to be traumatic for him to give them up, so I was looking for a creative way to transition. Pacita was the perfect solution. We followed the book as a guide and gave all of the pacifiers to Pacita, who in return brought my son a letter (and a prize!). We continued to talk about the pacifiers and Pacita for a while, but that was it... we made the full transition over a single night. I was shocked at how well it went, and I would not have come up with this idea (or been able to pull it off) without the book.
