Refund policy
At French Wink, we carefully curate and pack every order with love and attention. Please read our policy carefully before placing your order.
Returns & Exchanges
We only offer exchanges for clothing items.
No returns or refunds will be accepted on any other products sold on our store unless the item arrives damaged or defective.
Our exchange policy lasts 14 days from the date of delivery. Unfortunately, if 14 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer an exchange.
To be eligible for an exchange:
The item must be unused, unworn, and in the same condition in which you received it.
The item must be returned in its original packaging with original tags attached.
Proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or packing slip) is required.
Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:
- Gourmet food products
- Beauty and skincare products
- Home décor items
- Gift boxes
- Personalized or custom products
- Sale items
- Temperature-sensitive products damaged during transit due to weather conditions (including but not limited to melted chocolate, softened candies, thawed frozen foods, or meat products)
Please note that slight melting or texture changes caused by heat exposure during transportation do not qualify for reimbursement or replacement claims.
Insured Shipping
Most orders shipped by French Wink are covered by shipping insurance for:
- Lost packages
- Damaged items caused during transit
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@frenchwink.com
and provide:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged package and products
- Any carrier documentation if applicable
- We will open a claim on your behalf and do our best to provide a quick resolution.
Shipping Insurance Exclusions
Shipping insurance does not apply to:
- Sale items
- Temperature-related damages (melted chocolate, thawed frozen products, etc.)
- Incorrect addresses provided by customers
- Packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported missing afterward
Partial Refunds (if applicable)
Partial refunds may be granted in certain situations:
- Item returned not in original condition
- Item damaged or missing parts not due to our error
- Item returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
Refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Return shipping fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
