Coffee, The French Way

Did you ever notice how café chairs in Paris face the street, not each other?

Because coffee isn’t just fuel — it’s a moment. A pause.
A chance to people-watch, gossip a little, and take your time…
even when the coffee itself is strong and short. Très contradictory, we know.
And very French ;)

That’s why we love Malongo
Our bestseller coffee brand: sustainable, bold, and rooted in Nice — where Claire actually crossed paths with the brand early on, long before French Wink existed. Today, we proudly share it with you.

''My very first job interview, fresh out of communication school in Nice, was for Director of Communication at Malongo. I was thrilled. I studied the brand inside out, arrived bursting with ideas, convinced I was meant to help tell their story. And then… they hired a senior PR woman ...from Paris! Quel affront, right? 😉
At the time, my young Mediterranean heart was a little broken. But today, I get it. My destiny wasn’t to give my voice to just one brand — it was to champion all the beautiful French savoir-faire we love. Not just from the South, not just from Paris… but across the big pond, sharing it with you. Way better ;)!
And oui Malongo is still part of my morning routine. 📹 watch the short video
Pair it with our beloved Café porcelain cups
(espresso, cappuccino, even double espresso — we’ve got you covered!), or go full tradition: in the North of France (where Myline’s from), coffee is often sipped from a bowl, not a cup! But Claire's dad loved - l.o.v.e.d - to sip his coffee in a small glass cup, va comprendre!
For true gourmets and connoisseurs,
Perle Noire and Label Rouge are among the finest coffees in the world.
Prefer instant?
Ricoré remains a French favorite. And if you want to get fancy, explore our brasserie cups and add a touch of whimsical sugar — oui, even the kind shaped like a little madeleine or croissant 😍 — because plaisir is in the details.

Or go a little wild like Myline (and many French people from le Nord) and dare to dip your cheese tartine straight into your coffee. Don’t knock it till you try it 😉

So take a moment, sip slowly, and explore our French coffee favorites — curated for those who enjoy coffee as a ritual, not a rush.
